Module Nine Video Review

1. Explain why you selected each of the TWO videos you choose from the selection listed above.
I have always liked Leonardo De Vinci and his art work.
The video the drawings of Michelangelo I have also enjoyed his art work is definitely different than most artists and in this video it talks about how is art work was never looked at and in this video it shows his actually works.
2. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned.
In the video about Leonardo De Vinci it talks about his whole life from birth to death, where he was born and where he ended in his career.
Michelangelo's pieces of art are being shown in a different way than they have ever been seen before, his original drawings were very detailed and most of his works were never seen because he would ruin them before anyone could see them because he was unsure of his work.
2. How do the videos relate to the readings in the text?
I believe the video about Leonardo goes into more depth of about his life from the beginning to the end.
In the video of Michelangelo they talk more about his pieces and why not many people saw his works, because he was never fully pleased with his work.
3. What is your opinion of the films? How do they add depth to understanding of the readings and art concepts?
I always like the videos better than the reading due to the fact that they discuss more things and usually go into more detail about the things discussed, such as the Leonardo De Vinci video I like that it goes into such detail about where he from and his art work. The Michelangelo video discusses more things about the pieces of works he created and then destroyed them before anyone could see them and judge them.
